We are now receiving applications for our next intake of people to fill core roles at Anahata Yoga Retreat. These include the chance for Full Exchange positions for trained people, and the option to step in at ground level through our Yogic Life Skills Training Program.

We consider applications from all ages and backgrounds, including both NZ residents and overseas visitors (with the appropriate Visa). Previous yoga experience is not essential, however a desire to learn about yoga, and to be an integrated member of the Anahata yoga community while you are here, is important.

Anahata Yoga Retreat offers you immersion in to a daily yogic lifestyle which encompasses simplistic living, time out from the hustle and bustle of modern life, a healthy vegetarian diet and the most beautiful natural environment. We have a weekly schedule of yoga, meditation, chanting (sound vibration) and Kirtan.

We are seeking sincere and committed people who are willing to carry out assigned duties with the attitude of a yogic aspirant, and who can contribute to the overall running of the Anahata community and retreat centre.

For those of you who are completely new to the wider yogic philosophies you will find the environment challenges you to really look inwards as you work and live alongside others. The days start early and are highly structured to provide the mind and body with an excellent routine and discipline around work, yogic practices, meals and personal time for reflection.

For the core roles we need a commitment of a minimum of three months* commencing October-November 2017 or a longer, ongoing stay through our Karma Yoga program or as a Full Exchange, if appropriate.

Core roles are:
• Admin support (bookings, correspondence and guest liaison and product sales)
• Kitchen Coordination
• Grounds/Maintenance/Building
• Trained yoga teachers
• Trained Satyananda yoga teachers
